Enhanced Compat Mode: Separated
Background
Separated Mode ensures all infusions within a lumen—primary and secondary—are fully compatible with one another. Incompatible medications are automatically assigned to separate lumens, prioritizing safety for scenarios where multiple infusions run simultaneously.
How to Use
Select the medications you want to administer by checking the boxes under their respective categories.
Toggle Strict Compatibility Mode if user prefers.
Click the “Optimize Grouping” button to generate the optimized grouping of medications.
Review the results displayed in the table, showing grouped medications for infusion.
If needed, click the “Reset” button to clear your selections and start over.
Strict Compatibility Mode
“Strict Compatibility Mode” is an optional feature that enforces precise rules for IV medication grouping. When activated, it excludes combinations with conditional compatibility—those with conflicting data or uncertain compatibility due to factors like limited evidence, varying concentrations, or potential interactions. This ensures that any potential risks are avoided entirely, prioritizing combinations with well-established compatibility.
